Ambulatory Surgery Center Association of Illinois

Ceases Operations Effective 6/30/2017

After 29 years of serving the surgery center community throughout Illinois, the ASC Association of Illinois has ended its role and ceased operations on June 30, 2017.

It has been an honor to work with and for the benefit of all Illinois ASCs.  Over the past 29 years ASCAI had developed and maintained a positive and meaningful working relationship with the Illinois Department of Public Health, the state’s ASTC Licensing Board, the Illinois State Medical Society and members of the Illinois General Assembly.  ASCAI has been a strong advocate for the great value that your and all ASCs in Illinois represent.

ASCAI encouraged and helped other states such as Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin to create viable state societies and provided technical assistance to many of our member surgery centers.  In line with that tradition, if I can be of assistance to your ASC or answer questions you may have regarding licensure and regulatory issues, please do not hesitate to contact me directly as you have done in the past and I will try to share what I have learned from working with this great ASC community here in Illinois these past 29 years.  I can be reached at
